Previously, Emily held various roles at Village Capital and Cambridge Associates, ranging from Platform Lead to Investment Analyst. Emily has also worked in roles such as Teaching Assistant, English teacher, and Intern at organizations like American University and the Office of Congressman Brad Miller. Emily holds a degree in International Service, Economics, Development Economics and International Development from American University, as well as certificates in Product Management and Project Management from Product School.
