David Byrd

David Byrd currently serves as a Partner and Global & Americas Blockchain Assurance Leader at EY, a role held since September 2013. In addition to this position, David has been a panelist at the Practising Law Institute from June 2016 to December 2017, where contributions included lectures on finance for legal professionals and key factors influencing financial reporting. Prior to these roles, David taught accounting and finance courses at the University of San Francisco in May 2013. Academically, David holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of California, Davis, and a BS in Accounting from the University of San Francisco.
