Imtiaz Ibrahim

Imtiaz Ibrahim is an Oman Assurance Leader specializing in Islamic Banking and Finance with over 25 years of experience in technical accounting advisory solutions, auditing, and corporate finance. They currently serve as a Partner at EY, leading the Assurance Business for Qatar and the Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice for Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman. Imtiaz advises clients on a range of topics including the implementation of new accounting standards and finance transformation, and has previously headed the Islamic Financial Services Assurance Group in Bahrain. An accomplished orator and author, Imtiaz is actively involved in the development of Islamic banking regulatory frameworks and serves on the Accounting Standards Committee of the AAOIFI.
