Vishmi Abesekara

Vishmi Abesekara currently serves as a Junior Auditor at EY, starting in January 2024, where key responsibilities include attending stock counts, preparing audit working papers, and reporting auditing issues. Prior experience includes roles such as Assistant Director and Secretary for Aquatica Wave 3 at the Rotaract Club of University of Sri Jayewardenepura, where Vishmi contributed to the project "Someone's Daughter" aimed at eliminating violence against women. Additionally, Vishmi held multiple leadership positions at AIESEC Sri Lanka, including IGV B2B & VD Team Leader and Business Development (Operations) Team Leader. Early career experience includes serving as a Financial Advisor at Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Limited. Vishmi is pursuing a B.Sc. in Accounting (special) Accountancy and Finance at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and has completed a variety of educational programs, including a Diploma in English Language and Literature and a Cambridge Business English Certificate in Business/Corporate Communications.
