Yoong Wong

Yoong (Logan) Wong, MAcc, serves as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo since September 2021, supporting courses in accounting and finance. Prior to this role, Yoong worked as a Lifeguard for the City of Mississauga for three years. Recent experience includes positions at EY in June 2023, where responsibilities involved roles such as Staff Accountant II and Senior Tax Accountant, focusing on the preparation of US and Canadian tax returns for expatriates. Additionally, Yoong served as a Junior Financial Developer at Mortgage Automator Software Inc from January to April 2021. Education credentials include a Master's of Accounting from the University of Waterloo, expected in 2024, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the same institution, completed in 2023. Currently enrolled in CPA Ontario's In-Depth Tax Program, which is anticipated to be completed in 2025.
