Desiree Beutelspacher

Desiree Beutelspacher has extensive work experience in the field of clinical development and operations. Desiree most recently served as the SVP of Global Development Operations at EyeBio starting in April 2023. Before that, they worked as a Clinical Development Consultant from July 2020 onwards. From August 2020 to April 2023, they held the position of VP and Development Program Leader - Zimura at IvericBio. Prior to that, Desiree was the VP of Operations at Retinagenix / Fortify, BridgeBio Portfolio Companies from September 2019 to July 2020. From February 2018 to July 2020, they worked at Kodiak Sciences as the VP of Clinical Operations. Desiree also worked as the VP of Clinical Development at Ophthotech from March 2008 to January 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Clinical Research Consultant at Beutelspacher Clinical Consulting from 2005 to 2009. Desiree also held roles as the Acting Director of Clinical Operations at Danube Pharmaceuticals from January 2007 to January 2008, and as a Clinical Consultant at EyeGate in 2007. Desiree started their career as a Pre-IND Project Management Consultant at OSI Eyetech in 2006.

Desiree Beutelspacher obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from UCLA, where they attended from 1993 to 1998. The specific field of study during their time at UCLA remains unknown.
