Terry G. Coursey, PhD has worked in the field of immunology since 2002. Terry G. began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, under the mentorship of Ira J. Blader, PhD. In 2004, they received their PhD in Immunology from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where their mentor was Jerry Y. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine, where they conducted research projects examining the pathogenesis and therapeutic options of dry eye disease and autoimmune anterior segment ocular inflammation, as well as allergic conjunctivitis and microbial infection of the eye. Terry G.'s mentor during this period was Stephen C. In 2016, they joined EyeCRO, where they currently serve as Vice President, Science and Discovery and Director, Anterior Segment Diseases.

Terry G. Coursey, PhD has a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma Baptist University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002 in the field of Biology. Terry G. then went on to UT Southwestern Medical Center, where they obtained their PhD in Immunology, Tumor Immunology, and Ocular Immunology from 2004 to 2011. Following this, they completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine from 2011 to 2016, specializing in Dry Eye and Ocular Surface Disease.
