Joseph Cross

Joseph Cross, CPA, has extensive work experience in various accounting and finance roles. Joseph is currently serving as the Vice President, Corporate Controller at Eyemart Express, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, Joseph worked at Corsearch as the Vice President of Finance from July 2020 to July 2022. Before that, they held roles such as Controller and Senior Accounting Manager at the same company, starting in February 2018 and ending in September 2019.

Joseph also has experience working at Pier 1 Imports, where they served as the Sr. Manager of Accounting and Financial Systems from December 2015 to February 2018. Joseph also held positions as Sr. Manager of Revenue Accounting and Manager of Lease Accounting & Audit between July 2014 and December 2015, and October 2008 and July 2014, respectively.

Joseph began their career as a Public Accountant at Weaver, where they worked from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they worked in the same role at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP from 2003 to 2006. Throughout their career, Joseph has demonstrated expertise in accounting and financial management, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

Joseph Cross, CPA graduated from the University of Richmond - Robins School of Business in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. Joseph has also obtained additional certifications including "How to Train Your Brain For Happiness" from LinkedIn, and they are a licensed CPA through the Virginia State Board of Accountancy. Joseph has also achieved the SAFe 4.0 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
