Torsten Schulz has over 24 years of experience in the technology industry. Torsten co-founded EyePop.ai in 2023, where they currently serve as the Chief Technology Officer. Before that, they spent a year as Founder in Residence at Launch Factory. From 2011 to 2022, Schulz worked at Jelli, Inc. in various roles, including as General Manager and Chief Product Officer and as VP of Engineering, where they led the engineering team for the first cloud-based platform for the $40 billion global radio market. Prior to that, Schulz worked at Yahoo! for several years, where they served in multiple roles such as Senior Director of Engineering for Mobile and Presentation Services and Architect & Senior Engineering Manager. Schulz began their career as a Software Developer at StarOffice GmbH, which was later acquired by Sun Microsystems, where they served as a Lead Software Engineer before joining VerdiSoft, which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2005.

Torsten Schulz earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1989 to 1993. Torsten then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Hamburg from 1993 to 1997.
