Maureen Powers is the founder and CEO of Eyes in Synch. Maureen has over twenty years of experience in the field of visual neuroscience and has held various positions at Vanderbilt University, Gemstone Foundation, and Vison Science Labs, Inc. Her primary research interest is in retinal mechanisms of vision during development and adulthood.
Maureen Powers received their A.B. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley. Maureen then went on to obtain their Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Michigan. After completing their Ph.D., they did postdoctoral work in both Vision Science and Ophthalmology at the University of Washington and the University of Michigan Medical School, respectively.
