Xinyu Tok has held a variety of roles in the research and marketing industry since 2013. In 2013, they began their career as a Global Volunteer Supply Director at AIESEC Singapore. In 2015, they became a Regional Client Partner, Asia Pacific at Universum. In 2017, they moved to System1 Research as a Senior Market Researcher. In 2021, they took on a Senior Analyst role at SKIM and most recently, in 2022, they became a Senior Insights Manager at EyeSee.

Xinyu Tok has a Master of Science in Behavioural Economics from University College Dublin, a Diploma in Digital Marketing from M.A.D. School by Chatsworth Medi@rt Academy, a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Mathematical Science from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and attended the London School of Economics Summer School for Strategic Management.
