Efrat Gilboa

Efrat Gilboa has extensive experience in research and development within the medical industry. Efrat is currently working at EyeYon Medical as a Research and Development Manager, a role they began in December 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Research and Development Engineer at EyeYon Medical starting in July 2020.

Before their work at EyeYon Medical, Efrat worked at Active Healing Biomedical Ltd. as an R&D lead from November 2015 to June 2018. Efrat also served as an R&D engineer at Tulip Medical from December 2013 to September 2015 and at SteadyMed Therapeutics from February 2012 to March 2013.

Efrat's early work experience includes a role as a cleanroom technician at Numonyx from March 2008 to October 2008.

Efrat Gilboa holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, which was obtained between 2008 and 2013. Currently, Efrat is pursuing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Materials Science and Engineering at Tel Aviv University since 2018.
