Randy Appiah has a long history of work experience in the manufacturing industry. Randy started their career in 2004 as a student at HS Zuyd. In 2005, they completed an internship at Agora Laserapplications. In 2008, they completed an internship at Robert Bosch, where they worked on process improvement, product development and introduction of a new operating fluid to improve the quality of the product. In 2009, they worked as a Maintenance Engineer, Continuous Improvement Manager (Factory) and Continuous Improvement Manager (Business Group) at FrieslandCampina. Randy also completed their final graduation project at Robert Bosch Korea (Diesel systems), where they conducted research and analysis to quality problems, and implemented new solutions to improve the manufacturing process. In 2015, they founded and owned Improvo, a company that specializes in simple and user-friendly applications of continuous improvement on the work floor. Finally, in 2016, they founded and co-CEO'd EZ Factory, a specialist in continuous improvement methods that develops software to support the manufacturing industry with professional mobile applications.
Randy Appiah attended Zuyd Hogeschool (now Zuyd University of Applied Sciences) from 2004 to 2009, studying Mechanical Engineering and business. Randy also attended Fachhochschule Aachen from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Diplom Ingenieur (Dipl.Ing) in Mechanical Engineering and business.
