Martijn Mars

Martijn Mars is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in software architecture, project management, and requirements governance. Currently serving as the Requirements & Governance Lead at the F-35 Joint Program Office since November 2020, Martijn has previously held key positions at MINDEF (NL) from January 2011 to November 2020, including Senior Software Architect and Principal IT Consultant, focusing on ground-based IT systems for the F-35. With a history of project management at the Ministerie van Defensie/DMO, Martijn has managed multiple large IT development projects from January 2000 to November 2020. Earlier experience includes roles as an Oracle Developer at the Ministerie van Defensie and an academic background in Geology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
