Wouter Driessen

Wouter Driessen currently serves as a Translational DMPK-PD project leader at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd since April 2024. Prior to this role, Wouter held the position of Translational Research Director at Anjarium Biosciences from June 2022 to March 2024, where responsibilities included defining and executing a strategy for innovative gene therapies. Wouter's earlier experience at Roche spanned from December 2014 to June 2022, culminating in the role of Senior Principal Scientist, overseeing multiple projects from target assessment to clinical trials. Wouter also worked in various capacities at Roche related to DMPK/PD in immunology and immuno-oncology. Earlier in Wouter's career, experience included chemist roles at iThera Medical, guest scientist at Helmholtz Center Munich, and postdoctoral fellowships at The UT M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and the University of Florida. Wouter's educational background includes a PhD in Pharmaceutics from the University of Florida and a BS and MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Utrecht University.
