Johannes Kossila

Johannes Kossila has extensive experience in the field of information security. Johannes began their career at Capgemini as a Software Engineer and Security Auditor, where they focused on conducting security audits and managing enterprise applications. Johannes later transitioned to the role of Security Consultant at Capgemini, where they provided security services for clients in both the public and private sectors.

Kossila then joined Tieto as the Head of Information Security, where they were responsible for managing and developing the operational information security of the company's ICT services. Johannes also acted as the security expert for Tieto's worldwide internal ICT organization.

After Tieto, Kossila joined Nordea as a Business Information Security Officer, where they defined, led, and monitored the security strategy for the business operations. Johannes served as a trusted partner for Nordea and helped mitigate security risks.

Most recently, Kossila worked at Nixu Corporation as the Chief Information Security Officer. Johannes led and enforced Nixu's corporate cybersecurity governance, ensuring the company remained a trusted cybersecurity partner for customers and the digital society.

Currently, Kossila holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at F-Secure Corporation.

Johannes Kossila's education history is as follows:

From 2015 to 2019, they attended the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, where they obtained a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in Global IT Management.

Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, they studied at the University of Turku, earning a Master of Science degree in Networked Systems Security and Cryptography.

Earlier, from 2010 to 2013, Johannes attended the University of Turku, where they completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Digital Communications.

In addition to their formal education, Johannes Kossila has obtained the ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from the IRCA | International Register of Certificated Auditors in September 2022.
