Toby White

Toby White has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Toby started their career as a Research Associate at Cambridge University in 2002 and later joined the Met Office as a Unified Model System Developer. From 2003 to 2008, they worked as a Research Associate at Cambridge University's Earth Sciences department, where they led information management strategies and developed software for scientific data handling. Moving on, Toby founded and served as the CTO of Timetric, a company that developed and launched information visualization products. Toby later joined GlobalData Plc as the Group CTO, leading technology and data strategy for the company. Toby then joined Wärtsilä as the Vice President of Digital Engineering, where they managed technology, data, and platform strategies for the marine and power industries. Currently, they are working at F-Secure Corporation as the CTO. Overall, Toby has extensive experience in technology leadership, software development, and digital transformation within various organizations.

Toby White obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Toby then pursued further education at the University of Cambridge and completed their PhD in Theoretical Chemistry from 1998 to 2002.
