Samantha Muscat-Scherr has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Samantha is currently working at BEGiN as a Product Designer since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a UX/UI Designer at KCTS 9, Cascade Public Media from June 2017 to March 2022. Samantha also has self-employment experience as a web and graphic designer, where they worked as an Art Director & Designer since January 2009. During this time, they created various design projects for international non-profit organizations and global professional services firms.

Samantha has also worked as an Art Director II at esd & associates from October 2015 to April 2016. Samantha demonstrated their expertise in website design and responsive web designs using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Wordpress, and Joomla. Samantha was successful in attracting new accounts for the agency based on client satisfaction.

Earlier in their career, Samantha worked as an Art Director and Graphic Designer at The Broadway Agency from June 2013 to March 2015. Samantha led a team of designers and interns, managed client relationships, and received positive feedback for their redesign of a member resource book. Samantha was promoted to Art Director after six months of employment, showcasing their ability to adapt to client needs and work independently.

Samantha also has experience as a Graphic Designer at Heaven Sent Promotions & Apparel and Ideawire, Inc. Samantha started their professional journey as a Graphic Designer/Event Promoter at Pho Sure Vietnamese Restaurant.

Samantha Muscat-Scherr has a solid education history, having pursued their academic journey across multiple institutions. Samantha began their educational pursuits at The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Following this, they attended San Antonio College from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design. Samantha's passion for design led their to further enhance their skills at the University of Washington, where they completed a User Centered Design Certificate in 2017. Building on this foundation, they then pursued a Master of Science in Human Centered Design & Engineering, specializing in User Experience, also at the University of Washington, from 2017 to 2019. Samantha's varied educational background reflects their dedication to gaining expertise in human-centered design and graphic design.
