Bret Marzolf

Bret Marzolf is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the financial technology sector. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at F5 since September 2019, Bret previously held senior engineering roles at Capital One, where responsibilities included building Go-based gRPC services and prototyping Kafka event consumers. Prior to that, Bret contributed to the enterprise architecture during the ING Direct acquisition and developed Java-based cash management services at ING Direct. Bret's career began at ShareBuilder, where the BRET framework for batch job processing was developed. This strong technical background is complemented by formal education at Purdue University and The University of Akron.
