Brian Meifert

Sr. Principal Software Engineer at F5 Networks

Brian Meifert has worked in the software engineering field for over 25 years. Brian started their career at Raytheon Company, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer from 1994 to 2000. During this time, they worked on various projects, including the Amsterdam Advanced Air Traffic Control Project and the Integrated Terminal Weather System.

After leaving Raytheon, Brian joined Cereva Networks as a Senior Software Engineer in 2000. Brian was responsible for designing and developing the Service Processor Unit and worked on a VxWorks based direct attach storage system. Brian also contributed to lab automation tools.

In 2002, Brian joined Acopia Networks as a Principal Software Engineer, where they continued their responsibilities until 2007.

Since 2007, Brian has been working at F5 Networks. Brian initially held the position of Principal Software Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Principal Software Engineer in October 2018. Additional information about their roles at F5 Networks was not provided.

Brian Meifert earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York College at Potsdam. Brian also attended Boston University, where they studied Computer Science for a year in 1998-1999.
