Johanne Holten

Johanne Holten has extensive experience in environmental planning and public consultancy, currently serving as Chefkonsulent at Faaborg-Midtfyn Kommune since September 2011, where responsibilities include leading the Liv og Læring program and overseeing community engagement initiatives. Prior positions include serving as a Climate Change Specialist at The World Bank, where roles encompassed significant environmental challenges in the Middle East and North Africa, and Head of Section at the Bureau of Minerals and Petroleum in Greenland. Additionally, Johanne has held various positions in environmental consulting and research, including an assistant role at the National Environmental Research Institute and as an Industrial Environmentalist with Carl Bro/Danida. Educational qualifications include a Cand. techn Soc degree in environmental planning and regulation from Roskilde University.
