Muhammad Abdelhamid

Muhammad Abdelhamid is a highly experienced Senior R&D Scientist at FAAM - Energy Saving Battery since January 2024, with a robust background in battery research and development. Previous roles include Research Scientist at the Institute for Energy Technology (September 2020 - December 2023) and Postdoctoral Researcher at Uppsala University (December 2018 - September 2020), focusing on developing bio-based polymers and organic electrode materials for Li-ion and Na-ion batteries. Additional significant contributions were made as a Future Science Postdoctoral Fellow at CSIRO (October 2017 - December 2018) and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Chalmers University of Technology (May 2016 - October 2017), where work included developing micro-batteries and electrolytes for next-generation lithium-sulfur batteries. Education includes a PhD in Electrochemistry from RMIT University and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Monash University.
