Darren Leyenhorst

Vice President at Faber Construction

Darren Leyenhorst has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Darren began their career in 1992 as a Carpenter at Harley Construction, where they worked until 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they owned and operated Cornerstone Construction. In 2004, they joined Faber Construction as a General Superintendent, responsible for managing and coordinating jobs and field staffing, as well as hiring and training construction field staff. Darren currently holds the position of Vice President at Faber Construction, starting in January 2021.

Darren Leyenhorst has a diverse educational background with a focus on construction and engineering. Darren obtained a Certificate of Apprenticeship in Carpentry/Carpenter from BCIT in 2000 and completed courses in Construction Cost Estimating at the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2002. Additionally, they pursued studies in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at BCIT in 1995-1996. Darren has also obtained various certifications related to project management and construction, including multiple Procore certifications and OSHA Record Keeping for Managers and Supervisors.
