Gilbert Hendry

Gilbert Hendry has an extensive work history in the software and tech industry. Gilbert is currently the VP of Software at Fabric Cryptography since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Meta as a Computer Architect and ML Research Scientist from April 2022 to December 2022. Gilbert also served as the Head of Data Science at Culture Biosciences from March 2021 to April 2022. Gilbert worked at Google as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2020 to March 2021. Before that, Gilbert held the position of VP of Software at Lightelligence from December 2019 to October 2020, and Software Lead/Principal Machine Learning Engineer from December 2018 to December 2019. Gilbert also worked at Microsoft Research as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2018 to December 2018, and at Microsoft as a Senior Data Scientist from September 2017 to April 2018. Earlier in their career, Gilbert worked at Google as a Software Engineer from January 2016 to September 2017, from June 2015 to January 2016, and from November 2013 to June 2015. Their first role after completing their education was at Sandia National Laboratories, where they served as a Senior Member Technical Staff from June 2011 to November 2013.

Gilbert Hendry has a strong educational background in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Business Administration. In 2007, they attended Columbia University and successfully obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, completing their studies in 2011. Following this, they enrolled at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2007, where they earned both a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Engineering.

In 2017, Gilbert pursued further education at the Quantic School of Business and Technology, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). However, the specific field of study for this degree is not provided.
