Birgit Stache-Crain

Birgit Stache-Crain has a long and varied work experience. Birgit started their career in 1993 as a Postdoc at UC Santa Cruz. In 1996, they moved to Hyseq as the Director of Data Analysis, where they successfully coordinated collaboration with BASF Plant Science L.L.C. In 2005, they took on the role of Sales Operations Manager at Lok Technology. From 2006 to 2009, they worked at Biomarker Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist in Research and Product Development, where they analyzed microarrays gene expression data, built databases of SNP genotype/phenotype associations, and developed algorithms and software in Perl. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Senior Research Scientist at the Ernest Gallo Clinic and Research Center, University of California San Francisco. Finally, since 2016, they have been a Senior Scientist at Fabric Genomics.

Birgit Stache-Crain attended the University of Konstanz from 1982 to 1993, where they earned a Dr. rer. nat. (Ph.D.) and Diplom (B.S.) in Biology. No additional certifications have been listed.
