Glenda Bean has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Native English Teacher at AEON Amity, where they taught students of all ages and managed their progress. In 2009, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at VERSATILE OFFICE & STORAGE INC. In 2010, they worked as an Artist Assistant at Butterfly Utopia. From 2011 to 2018, Glenda worked at Currin Compliance Services, Inc. in a variety of roles. Glenda was the Director of the Currin Insurance Compliance Education (CICEd) Program, where they developed, marketed, and managed online and in-person training services for insurance compliance professionals. Glenda also led live workshops and presented as a subject matter expert on appropriate topics. Additionally, they were the Director of the Advertising and Producer Compliance Department, where they provided compliance consulting services to life insurance companies, distributors, and agents on advertising compliance and regulatory issues nationwide. In 2018, Glenda began working at Fabric by Gerber Life in a variety of roles, including Senior Services Manager and Customer Support.

Glenda Bean obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and English from Hunter College in 2007. In 2014, they obtained the ALMI, Associate, Life Management Institute certification from LOMA. In November 2020, they obtained the Business of Product Management I certification from Coursera.
