Ian Emerson

Ian Emerson is a seasoned professional currently serving as Chief of Staff at Fabric Ventures since July 2020, having also held titles of Venture Associate, Venture Analyst, and Venture Analyst Intern within the same organization. Ian gained valuable experience as a Business Development Intern at Factmata, where responsibilities included creating VC and brand decks, conducting market sizing, and performing competitive analysis. Prior internships at Novo Tellus Capital Partners involved conducting due diligence on biotechnology investments, while a research assistantship at Imperial College London focused on developing undergraduate chemistry labs. Previous research roles included work at the Nanomaterials Research Group and the Thermophysics Laboratory, the latter resulting in a published paper. Ian holds a Management Joint Honours degree from Imperial College Business School and a BSc in Chemistry with Management from Imperial College London.
