Mike Owens

Mike Owens has a diverse work experience in web and product development. Mike started their career as an Online Intern at Rockford Register Star in 2006. Later, they worked at Securian Financial Group as an Analyst, Development Support, and then as a Programmer Analyst. In 2011, Mike joined Rockford Register Star again, this time as a Webmaster. Mike then moved to FatWallet, Inc. as a Web Developer in 2012. In 2013, Mike joined Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, Int'l (FMA) as a Lead Web Engineer and later took on roles as the Web Development Manager and Sr. Web Development Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Web & Product Development Director at FMA. Throughout their career, Mike has demonstrated skills in agile project management, server administration, UI development, and front-end frameworks like Vue.js.

Mike Owens attended Luther College from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
