Chaz Dumas

Chaz Dumas has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles.

Chaz is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Face Reality Skincare since April 2023.

Prior to that, they worked at JAPONESQUE from 2015 to 2023, where they served as the CFO/VP Finance. During their time at JAPONESQUE, they played a key role in the company's transformation into a professional high-growth organization and its successful sale in 2019. Chaz also contributed to the successful acquisition and integration of two companies, Makeup Eraser and Barefoot Sciences. Additionally, they were involved in a major debt refinancing initiative.

Before JAPONESQUE, Chaz worked as the Corporate Controller at Tria Beauty, Inc. from 2012 to 2015, and at Bridgelux, Inc. from 2008 to 2012. Chaz also served as the Assistant Controller - IAC Search & Media at IAC in 2007.

Chaz's earlier experience includes roles as the Revenue Controller/Director FP&A at UTStarcom from 2001 to 2007, Director of Financial Accounting at innoVentry Corporation from 2000 to 2001, and Manager of Corporate Planning at IDG Books Worldwide from 1997 to 2000.

Chaz began their career as a Senior Accountant at EY, where they worked from 1994 to 1997.

Chaz Dumas completed their education history by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance/Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Chaz attended this institution from 1992 to 1994. Chaz further enhanced their qualifications by obtaining the CPA (inactive) certification from the California Board of Accountancy in October 1997.
