Matt Covert

Matt Covert is a seasoned planning professional currently serving as a Senior Planner at Facet since September 2023, and previously held the position of Senior Planner at LDC, Inc. for five years, where Matt initiated as an Associate Planner. Prior experience includes a Community Planner role at the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission, where responsibilities encompassed preparing comprehensive land use plans and engaging with municipal officials and the public. Matt also managed the Green Downtown Program at 1000 Friends of Wisconsin, focusing on sustainability initiatives, and contributed as a Farm-to-School Specialist at REAP Food Group. Matt's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Environment and Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University.
