Jonathan Humphries

Jonathan Humphries has over 10 years of professional experience in a variety of roles. In 2021, they began their current role as 3D Animation Technical Account Manager at Faceware. In 2020, they were a 3D Animator at Escape Studios, where they animated and improved shots from Director and Industry feedback, attended dailies and organized assets in Shotgun, and animated three shots for the short film Moon Rockz on a tight deadline. In 2014, Jonathan was an Animation and Digital Media Instructor at Canyons Technical Education Center, where they developed and conducted curriculum in animation and digital media, managed specialties in the entire 3D Animation Pipeline, and organized team-based animated short films. In 2013, Jonathan was a Graphic Designer at Realtypath, where they designed magazine ads, certificates, flyers, business cards, and websites, and was the company photographer for agent portraits and real-estate photos. In 2012, they were a Lead Game Designer and Animator at Tripleslash Studios, where they pitched initial concept and gameplay for indie game \"Magnetic by Nature\", created animations and art assets, and won Best Developed Game and Crowd Favorite at Utah Game Wars. In the same year, Jonathan was also a Stunt Performer at CBR Stunts. In 2013, they were the Cinematographer for the short film Jeb Finds God, where they had an IMDb credit and was responsible for directing lighting, shot composition, and camera decisions following the vision of the Director. In 2011, Jonathan was an Office Manager at Collision Forensics and Engineering, where they managed schedules, travel, itineraries, conferences, and office needs, and organized documents and streamlined productivity.

Jonathan Humphries received a Master's degree in 3D Animation from Buckinghamshire New University in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Film and Media Arts: Entertainment Arts and Engineering from the University of Utah in 2013. Jonathan also attended Brigham Young University from 2008 to 2010.
