Herman Kao, DDS, MD, FACS, is a highly experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon currently serving at Facial & Oral Surgery Associates and as Vice Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at JPS Health Network, both since July 2009. Additionally, Herman Kao holds the position of Associate Professor at TCU School of Medicine since July 2021. Educationally, Herman Kao completed a Doctor of Medicine degree at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, after earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan. Earlier academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of British Columbia.
