Tipu Makandar

Tipu Makandar has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 2010 to the present. Tipu started their career as a PGDM student in Events, Advertising, and PR at EMDI Institute of Media and Communication, during which they also worked as a freelance event manager. In 2012, they founded and became the director of Iris Florals, a floral design company specializing in deliveries, decorations, and gifting items.

Throughout the years, Tipu has held various positions in different organizations. Tipu worked as a freelance project manager and content writer with SEO Pencil in 2012 before joining Angel Dust Creations as a production head and project manager from 2010 to 2012.

In subsequent years, Tipu ventured into the marketing and events industry, serving as a marketing and events manager at the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce from 2012 to 2013. Tipu then became a creative conceptualizer at Seventy Seven Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. from 2013 to 2014 and at Candid Marketing from 2014 to 2015. Following this, they worked as a manager for content and strategic planning at Pentagon Events and Activations from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, Tipu became the deputy director at the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, India. Currently, they are employed as a content manager at Facilius Inc., a position they have held since April 2020. Overall, Tipu has gained extensive experience in various roles within the events, marketing, and content management fields.

Tipu Makandar's education history begins with completing Matriculation at Learners Academy from 1988 to 2002. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Management at MMK College of Commerce and Economics from 2002 to 2007. In 2010, Tipu enrolled at EMDI Institute of Media and Communication, where they obtained a Diploma in Event Management and PR, which lasted until 2011. Later, in 2016 to 2017, they attended the Institute of Floral Design (IFD) and became a Certified Floral Design Professional.
