Amanda Sachs

Amanda Sachs believes that every person has value and should have the right to live somewhere secure, peaceful, and with dignity. She believes that just saying HELLO and acknowledging each other, opens their hearts and minds to those around us. After being deeply affected by a Facebook post written by the Founder, Rex Holbein, his team at Microsoft was inspired to raise the funds for a BLOCK home (#14!) to help house one of the beautiful unsheltered neighbors. She spent his career at large technology corporations leading customer experience improvement efforts, managing global communities, and driving organizational culture programs. She has been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel to 55+ countries and considers herself a lifelong student of culture. She learned how critical having empathy is in how they understand and treat each other in the workplace and even more importantly, in their personal lives. She felt honored to join the Board of Directors in January 2021 and continue to be a regular volunteer at the Window of Kindness. Spending time with the community and gathering their feedback on his new pandemic baking hobby is the best part of his week.
