Eugene Kiely

Eugene Kiely is the current director of factcheck.org. Eugene has over 25 years of experience in journalism and was previously the Washington assignment editor for USA TODAY. Eugene has also worked as Pennsylvania State Editor, Deputy PA Editor, Bucks County Editor, and Trenton Statehouse reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer. Kiely began their career in journalism at the Bergen Record Corp, where they served as Bureau Chief.

Eugene Kiely attended Livingston College at Rutgers University, where they earned a BA with a dual major in Journalism and English.
