Ain McKendrick

Ain McKendrick is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the development and management of innovative software and autonomous vehicle solutions. As Founder & CEO of Faction since February 2020, McKendrick focuses on software for driverless vehicles, targeting micro-logistics and vehicle-on-demand markets. Prior roles include Vice President of Engineering at Starsky Robotics, Senior Vice President of Engineering at Cyngn, and Co-Founder at Podtek Inc., among others. McKendrick's background also comprises significant positions at Highfive, Lyve, Netflix, Dell, MonsterGecko, and Digeo, showcasing a diverse skill set in product development and engineering leadership. McKendrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and participated in Y Combinator in 2021.
