Piero Gerardo Torres Robatty

Piero Gerardo Torres Robatty has over eight years of work experience. Piero Gerardo started their career in 2014 as the Jefe de Practicas del Curso de Computacion at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. In 2015, they became an IT Trainee at MIQ Logistics, where they were responsible for maintaining the TIC Infrastructure Inventory, providing Helpdesk services, and maintaining the Active Directory. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Centro de Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicaciones de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, where they were a Programador Semisenior and Coordinador. During this time, they were responsible for the administration and maintenance of TIC infrastructure for web services assigned by the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, as well as the generation and development of web services for new projects. Piero Gerardo also managed the GSuite service for the university's users and students. In 2018, they joined everis Perú as an Ingeniero de Datos, especializado en Cassandra + Spark. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at B89 as a Data Engineer and Senior Data Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Factored as a Senior Data Engineer.

Piero Gerardo Torres Robatty obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Specialization from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia between 2010 and 2014. Piero Gerardo also obtained an IB Diploma from International Baccalaureate in 2007 and 2008. Additionally, they have obtained a number of certifications, including DataStax Certified Professional on Apache Cassandra in 2018, Big Data - Capstone Project, Big Data Specialization, Graph Analytics for Big Data, Machine Learning With Big Data, Big Data Integration and Processing, Big Data Modeling and Management Systems, Introduction to Big Data, Big Data Hadoop Foundations, and Big Data Foundations from Coursera Course Certificates and IBM between 2016 and 2018.
