Reece Williams is an experienced professional in community engagement and youth support, currently serving as the Community Engagement Manager for Manchester City of Literature since March 2020. In this role, Reece focuses on enhancing literary experiences for the diverse communities of Manchester. Prior experience includes working as the Young Black Men’s Engagement Worker at 42nd Street Charity, where responsibilities involved advocating for mental health support among young Black men, and serving as a Peer Mentor at Contact Theatre. Reece has held various positions including Co Executive Producer at Young Identity and Project Administrator at Commonword. Additionally, experience includes associate production work for 53 Degrees North, facilitating workshops at Loreto High School and Contact Theatre, and providing script consulting for Clapperboard UK. Reece holds a BA in Music, Theatre and Entertainment Management from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
