Mert Yacan

Mert Yacan is a software developer and design technology specialist at Factory Reality since September 2022, focusing on developing in-house software solutions to optimize and automate processes, including Revit and AutoCAD add-ins, desktop applications, and Power BI dashboards. Mert also serves as a Sr. BIM QAQC Specialist at izÜRET since March 2021, with prior experience as a BIM QAQC Specialist in the same company. Previous roles include internships at Folkart, Dokuz Eylul University, and the Archeological Excavation of Smyrna Agora, providing exposure to high-rise building technologies and architectural restoration projects. Mert holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Izmir Institute of Technology and has studied at Politechnika Krakowska and Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, contributing to a well-rounded educational background in architecture.
