Siew Kai Choy

Mr. Choy joined the Board in 2020. He has over 30 years of experience in the investment management industry, including over 20 years with Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, GIC Private Limited, where he was a Managing Director. Mr. Choy held key leadership positions in the Equities Investment Department, Risk and Performance Management, Enterprise Data and Analytics, Governance, and GIC Innovation Labs, with experience ranging across all investment classes, including equities, fixed income, treasury, private equities, and real estate.

In his earlier career, Mr. Choy worked at a boutique fund management company, where he helped build all the company’s functions from scratch, as well as leading change initiatives at one of the largest banks in South East Asia. He is also an independent investor and/or advisor to companies across Banking, Fintech, Regtech and DeepTech located in Singapore, the United States, and Europe. Mr. Choy recently served as a Distinguished Careers Institute Fellow at Stanford University. He holds a BSc in Computer Science and Management Science (joint honors) from the University of Keele, United Kingdom, and attended The Wharton School’s Advanced Management Program for Senior Executives.
