Julian David Delgado Piraquive has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT. Julian David started their career in 2013 as a Leader of IT Solutions at Ricoh USA, Inc. Julian David then worked as a Coordinator of IT Systems at Arkos from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Grupo Honor & Laurel as a Coordinator of Infrastructure and Cybersecurity. Following that, they worked as a Cyber Security Consultant at the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications from March 2018 to August 2018. Julian David also served as a Cyber Security Consultant at Telefónica from August 2018 to May 2019.
In 2019, Julian joined Factum Information Technologies and held multiple roles. Julian David started as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant from May 2019 to December 2021. Later, they became the Head of Offensive Security, a role they currently hold.
Starting from 2022, Julian also took up a teaching position as a Master's Cybersecurity Teacher at iFP. Innovación en Formación Profesional.
Julian David Delgado Piraquive obtained a Master en Ciberseguridad degree from Universidad Nebrija in 2022. Prior to that, they attended Escuela Tecnológica Instituto Técnico Central from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a degree in Ingeniería informática, specifically as an Ingeniero de Sistemas.
In addition to their formal education, Julian has acquired several certifications. These include the Certified Red Team Operator (CRTO) from Zero-Point Security Ltd in January 2023, the Web Application Penetration Tester (eWPT) from eLearnSecurity in September 2022, the Certified Professional Penetration Tester (eCPPTv2) from eLearnSecurity in August 2022, and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ900) from Microsoft in October 2021.
Julian also holds the Cyber Security Professional Certificate (CSFPC) and the Scrum Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf, obtained in March 2021. Julian David obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco in February 2019 and the ISO 27001 - Auditor certification from SGS in September 2018. Furthermore, they earned certifications such as the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from the EC-Council in February 2018 and the Network Security Professional NSE4 from Fortinet in November 2017. Julian's earliest certification is the Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate (CSX) from ISACA obtained in July 2017.
