Shoshana Polanco

Shoshana Polanco is an accomplished arts professional with extensive experience in various roles within the cultural sector. Currently, Shoshana serves as Co-founder and Director of TEATRA and as Coordinator of Culture and Science Dissemination at Facultad de Estudios Superiores Iztacala, UNAM. Previous positions include mentoring for the Incubator of First Works at the General Directorate of Artistic Education, Program Manager and Head of Staff for the AlUla Unit at Balich Wonder Studio, and International Producer at La Teatreria. Additionally, Shoshana has also provided strategic advice at CAPACOA, managed international programming at Teatrix MX, taught at UADE, and served as a jury member for Music Theatre NOW. Shoshana's curatorial work includes nominating artists for the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation’s Southern Exposure initiative. Shoshana holds a Bachelor's degree in Women in Performance from The City University of New York and a degree in Acting from Escuela Municipal de Arte Dramatico.
