Iain MacKay

Iain Mackay is an experienced professional currently serving as Director of AI Safety and Government at Faculty since January 2022 and as a Trustee at Carefree since June 2023. Previously, Iain held the position of Head of Sectors at the National Cyber Security Centre from December 2020 to December 2021 and worked in various roles within the UK Civil Service from November 2009 to December 2020. With a strong educational background from the University of Oxford, Iain earned a Master of Arts in Philosophy and Theology and a Master of Studies in Theology (Ecclesiastical History).
