Katharine Muir is an experienced advocate currently serving at the Faculty of Advocates since October 2021. Prior to this role, Katharine worked as a Senior Solicitor at Burness Paull LLP from May 2018 to September 2021, focusing on dispute resolution. Katharine's legal career began at BLM, where roles included Solicitor and Trainee Solicitor from May 2014 to May 2018. Additional experience includes a Trainee Solicitor position at HBM Sayers for a brief period in early 2014, as well as serving as a Welfare Rights Officer and Welfare Benefits Adviser at Citizens Advice Scotland from November 2013 to February 2014. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Glasgow, along with an Erasmus Exchange experience at Københavns Universitet.
