Mary Ellen Stewart

Mary Ellen Stewart is an Advocate and Devil at the Faculty of Advocates since October 2020, concurrently serving as a Tutor at The University of Edinburgh, specializing in Contract Law and Scottish Legal Systems. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Solicitor and Solicitor at Brodies LLP from July 2016 to October 2020, and a Principal Verifier at the Scottish Qualifications Authority from September 2011 to September 2015. Additionally, Mary Ellen served as a Consultant for BBC Learning, where responsibilities included reviewing BBC Bitesize content from April 2012 to May 2014. Mary Ellen holds a PGDE in Secondary Education from the University of Strathclyde and a Diploma in Legal Practice along with an LL.B (Distinction) from the University of Glasgow.
