Chercheuse Invitée En Égypte at Faculty of Engineering Cairo University

Cinderella Omar is currently a visiting researcher at the Faculty of Engineering Cairo University, conducting a two-month research project focused on the sense of belonging in closed and open communities, in collaboration with the University of Cairo, local firm NDGS Architectes, and the University of Montreal. Prior to this role, Cinderella worked as a Technician in Permits and Inspections for Ville de Blainville, where responsibilities included applying urban regulations and reviewing permit applications. Additionally, experience as an Intern in Urban Planning at Ville de Bois-des-Filion involved conducting inspections and managing permit-related tasks. Cinderella holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Université de Montréal and an Honours degree in Urban Planning from Concordia University, complemented by a diploma in Architecture from Collège Montmorency.
