Jose Velada

Jose Velada currently serves as the Global Head of Innovation at FAES FARMA, a reputable Spanish pharmaceutical company, since May 2022. Prior to this role, Velada contributed to Navad Life Sciences as a Scientific Advisory Board Member, focusing on women's health, from February 2019 to September 2022. Additionally, Velada held the position of Board Member at Kuwait Saudi Pharmaceuticals Industries Company from November 2019 to May 2022, supporting its growth strategy following a major acquisition. In 2019, Velada established Velada Pharma Consulting to provide advisory services in the pharmaceutical sector. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Scientific Officer at Synthon, Vice President of R&D at Nordic Pharma, and Director of R&D at Disphar International BV. Jose Velada holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Universidad del País Vasco and has further academic experience as a Research Fellow at The University of Salford.
