Ryan Whitney

Ryan Whitney began their career in 2013 as an Asset Management Intern at J.P. Morgan. The following year, they were promoted to Banker Analyst. In 2014, they joined Virta Health as a Strategic Development Associate, becoming the first member of the Finance team. Ryan was later promoted to Strategic Finance Lead. In 2019, Ryan joined Day One Ventures as an Investor, where they focused on capital deployment strategy and fundraising for their second fund, as well as sourcing and diligence of investment opportunities. Ryan also took on the role of Strategy & Operations Lead - Music & Theater at StubHub the same year. In 2020, Ryan joined Faeth Therapeutics as Head Of Operations and Chief Of Staff. In their role, they were part of an incredible team focused on improving cancer outcomes globally, and was responsible for the Faeth Program which includes meals, therapeutics, and on-demand support from Faeth nutritionists.

Ryan Whitney obtained their Associate of Science in Business Administration from Piedmont Virginia Community College in 2012. Ryan then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia, which they completed in 2014. During their time at the University of Virginia, they also concentrated in Information Technology and Management at the UVA McIntire School of Commerce. Additionally, they obtained their Series 63 and Series 7 certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 2015.
