Greg Wingfield

Greg Wingfield has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Greg began their career as a Marketing Manager at the Virginia Department of Economic Development, where they promoted the Commonwealth in the New York City and New Jersey markets. Greg then served as the President of Forward Hampton Roads, a regional economic development organization. This organization later evolved into the Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance. In 1994, Wingfield became the Founding President and CEO of the Greater Richmond Partnership, a publicly and privately funded regional economic development group serving the City of Richmond and the counties of Chesterfield, Hanover, and Henrico. In 2015, they took on multiple roles, including President of G H Wingfield Consulting LLC and Wilder Fellow at VCU School of Business Career Services. In 2016, Wingfield co-founded On BoardRVA, an organization aimed at serving and connecting new and growing businesses in the Richmond area. Most recently, they joined Fahrenheit Advisors in 2018 as the Managing Director.

Greg Wingfield completed their high school education at Castle Heights Military Academy from 1967 to 1969. Afterwards, they attended Virginia Commonwealth University where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Studies/Affairs from 1972 to 1974. Greg continued their education at Virginia Commonwealth University and completed their Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from 1974 to 1976.
