Hairudin Masnin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and project coordination across various organizations. Currently serving as the Supply Chain Innovation Manager for South East Asia at the Fair Labor Association since April 2021, Hairudin previously worked as a Project Coordinator for the International Labour Organization, managing the BRIDGE Project aimed at addressing forced labor from September 2017 to April 2021. Prior experience includes serving as the Country Manager for UNAIDS, where oversight of administrative and operational management was crucial, and as a Programme Officer at both the International Council on Management of Population Programmes and the Asian Institute for Development Communication, focusing on public health and social issues. Hairudin holds a Master of Management degree from Open University Malaysia and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, complemented by specialized training in international cooperation in health from Heidelberg University.

Fair Labor Association is an international organization that combines the efforts of industry, civil society organizations, and colleges and universities to protect workers’ rights and improve working conditions worldwide by promoting adherence to international labor standards.In 1996, President Clinton assembled a meeting of multinationalcompanies and non-governmental organizations at the White House and challenged them to work together to improve working conditions in the apparel and footwear industries. This group became the Fair Labor Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.Based on International Labor standards, Fair Labor Association has developed a Workplace Code of Conduct, and created a practical monitoring, remediation and verification process to attain those standards.Fair Labor Association conducts independent monitoring and verification to ensure that its Workplace Standards are maintained.
